Will no back door drive me bananas?

Currently considering moving to a ground floor flat that has a garden - but no back door. You have to go out and round the side to access garden. I'm debating how annoying this is likely to be? It's a rental so no option to put a door in!

In my old flat you had to go out through the front door and through a shared corridor to access the garden - basically meant we never used it. I always said if we just forced ourselves we could get used to it though, but it’s not great having to take your front door keys with you, makes it less relaxed.

I'm always in the garden in my dressing gown first thing in the morning hanging washing out - I suspect I wouldn't do this if there wasn't direct access!

Also DD plays out in the garden while I'm cooking in the kitchen - I definitely couldn't do this without direct access.

It probably depends how you want to use your garden. Plenty of people have allotments that are a 10 minute walk from home so this is a step better than that!

Mmm that's my concern! Having to take everything you need with you and if you forget something, having to go back round to the front door etc! No pottering out with a cup of tea in your pyjamas. Makes it all so awkward!!
