Fixing scuffs on pine floorboards

I’ve just rearranged the furniture in the kitchen and discovered that some of the felt pada on the kitchen chairs have gone awol and subsequently there’s a fair bit of scuffing/wear on the floor which is now a bit more visible than it was.

They’re originalish Victorianish pine and I have no idea what finish is on them as we inherited from previous owner.

Is there some kind of wonder product I can buff in to disguise it a bit?

(Hoping the answer doesn’t invoke any serious sanding/refinishing, in which case I shall probably just throw down a rug and forget all about it)
