Anyone got any feedback on using F&B paints for sheds/summerhouses?? Am trying desperately to find the right shade of green - love French Grey by F&B but am worried that if it's not an external paint (like Cuprinol etc) it will flake or fade or drop off. Am also considering cream but can't make up my mind!! Help!!! xx

On my painting a shed thread (www.mumsnet.com/Talk/property/3271813-Painting-a-shed-need-novice-proof-advice) someone recommended F&B and said they'd had good results. But that was a specific F&B exterior paint. I'm not au fait enough with F&B to know whether all their shades come in all varieties of paint, but i certainly wouldn't want to use anything other than an exterior paint for exterior painting...

Have a look at the wilkos outdoor colours. They’re really great (and I found better to paint with than the Cuprinol ones!)

It might have been me re F&B outside. We have a sawn timber garage/barn with flat above and for that, and two summer houses (smooth timber), we have used F&B external paint for wood. 8 years later all look great and no repainting! It’s expensive though. F&B have a few examples of exterior paint on timber buildings on their web site. If you like the look, go for it.
