How much did your new kitchen cost?

I’m thinking that I’d like to get our kitchen redone. Seen that our neighbours with the same size kitchen have had theirs done and it’s just so more sensible.

Just wondering roughly how much your kitchens cost and what sort of size they were? Ours is only small (3.5m x 2m) so I would hope it wouldn’t be too much, but would be good to see a range of prices :)

It was nearly 2 years ago, but we got a similar sized kitchen done, with wood surface, wood-surround shaker doors, integrated appliances (hob, double over, washer-dryer & dish washer). We bought the units etc from DIY Kitchens, and got a local fitter to do all the work, including skimming walls and tiling floor. Cost around £12k and looks amazing.

Just had mine done recently, 2.4m x 3m, needed walls plastering as tiles from floor to ceiling, electrics moved, plumbing redone, roof plaster boarded and skimmed and spot lights put in. Old kitchen and flooring removed, new kitchen fitted and new flooring put in. It has cost us about £6000 for kitchen and all the work. (We only got new extractor and hob as all other appliances were less than 12 months old.)

Thanks both :)
