Renovating and Extending a house.

Hi,
We are looking at a 2 bed house that we want to extend into a 4 bed house, doubling the size, it needs and complete renovation and the extension will wrap around the back and the side of the house. The house is in Westcliff on sea we are moving from London so we hoped it would be cheaper to renovate than renovating in London. The house is around 1000sq feet at the moment. We were hoping 100k would do it up without decorating just getting the core house correct. Do you think we need to budget more. Thanks

Impossible to tell, it depends on too much. I sounds as if it would be tight but feasible. Getting a couple of quotes and adding 15-20% contingency is the only safe way.

+1 for tight but feasible as long as no difficult issues re access or ground works
