B and Q wood effect laminate worktops?

Were ordering these in Arlington Oak. Has anyone got b and q wood effect laminate? Would you recommend? Pics would be appreciated if poss....

I don't have b&q ones but do have IKEA. They have a layer of real wood over the top?
Are yours similar to that?
If so, I love mine. I was so worried about them and I've applied the oil etc and they look fab.

I don't know the one you mean, but generally I am not in favour of fake wood. Like laminate flooring, it's a photo of some wood glued onto chipboard or similar. It doesn't look convincing to me.

I like laminate worktops, they're durable and can be inexpensive. I prefer a plain or mottled colour that doesn't pretend to be something else.

Thanks for your replies. I actually thought they WERE real wood when I first saw them. I would love to have real wood but I cook a lot (and drip/spill things) so real wood would be really difficult to maintain I think in a heavily used kitchen. I was just asking specifically if anyone had these and what your opinions on them were....
