Solicitor for house purchase in Edinburgh

Please could I have recommendations for a Solicitor to handle a house purchase in Edinburgh, not a sale? Many thanks!

I've used Russel & Aitken before, both for buying & selling.

Warners is a long established and reputable firm. Their head office is in St Patrick's Square.

Meticulous. Even if I did feel a bit like I was getting told off by my Dad at times. I went there as a friend recommended him and Have recommended him many times since and not heard any negative feedback.

My bro (also a solicitor but not property) used Warners and wasn't that impressed.

Second Warner's.
We have had outstanding service twice.
Most recently a month ago.
Their lawyer is great.

We are using Alisdair Buchanan at Drummond Miller. He helped by a flat 20 years ago, sold it 5 years ago and is currently doing our sale of our place and purchase of new place.
