Undercounter oven, single or double

Hello, Can anyone give feedback on undercounter ovens (eye level is impossible due to layout constraints).

Would you recommend a single or double? I don't often need to use the oven and grill simultaneously, but would like the option to....there is also the cooking of Yorkshire pudding in the top oven. But is it worth sacrificing a bigger cavity for?

Any voices of experience much appreciated.

I chose the bigger cavity. I need three shelves often and sometimes use the fourth bit at the bottom.
I never found the top part of my previous double oven was very good so I didn't use it.

I like a single oven as well.

Thanks both, that's helpful. I'm definitely swaying towards single oven, my Granny manages to produce a roast for 20 in hers at Christmas, so I'm very probably over thinking my need for multiple ovens for just 3 of us Grin

Double oven. Every time. So much more flexibility and more economical to put the smaller grill on than the whole oven. Not least is the ability to cook two different things at different temperatures. I put up with single ovens for seven years and now wonder why the hell why.

Not sure if this is an option for you, but we got a range cooker with our new kitchen. It is fabulous I love it.

We have a range and having a separate grill made we wonder why I had put up with shitty - albeit top of range (no pun intended) - single oven for so long.

We got 2 when we had our house done,

We rarely use the one on the left!

Times we do use it:
Different temps eg yorkshire pud
um
That's it I think!

Having said that I've always had a double before and I think I'd feel a bit uncomfortable with one single!

As a thought - do you have a microwave? Some of those you can get with an oven function and some I think a grill too (?) so that might give you the security of two while using the cavity in most effective way with a single..
