Kitchen makeover companies

Has anyone used one of those companies that replace kitchen doors/ worktops etc-
Any good? Any to avoid?
We have a rental property that has a really shabby kitchen but I don't want to put in a new kitchen until the current tenants leave which could be a few more years.
