Anyone bought designer radiators from ebay?

I've found numerous ebay sellers who sell (often half price) designer radiators. I'm guessing there knock offs, but these companies generally have numerous excellent reviews which making me think twice.

Anyone got any experience or opinions on buying from ebay please? I'm based in Birmingham/Solihull area so linked to 1 seller as an example.

If you have bought from ebay, can you post name of seller or provide link please?

How long you had yours for Alex? I've always thought if a deal too good to be true, it often is, but the very good reviews is confusing me haha

Sorry I just looked in my purchase history and it's only showing up to the last few months on the app. We got it in January.

I’ve bought them a load of times ( I renovate properties) all good. You need to ensure that a qualified person installs them though and that you have your BTU’s calculated by an engineer. Not sure about the term ‘knock off’s” though. They aren’t pretending to be something they are not? The use of the word ‘designer’ is a bit questionable but really denotes a modern rather than traditional look....prices are mainly owing to buying in bulk/end of line sizes and colours and of course, no real estate to pay for in the online world.

Most designer rads are made by brands such as Milano etc. These ebay rads look similar but are unbranded. I just assumed they are knock offs due to being significantly cheaper, but selling end of life stuff explains that so yes, knock off probably too strong a term.

Where do you buy from Pradaqueen? I take it you recommend them...? Also is there anything specific you look for such as material type, warranty etc to ensure quality stuff?

Hi OP, each renovation is different so different look/feel/sizes so I generally look for the best deal. I have used Homestyle and Soak on eBay. Both have been v good. If it is high quality, longevity and warranty you are looking for, probably Ebay is not the place to buy from.

I bought some vertical eBay ones, £55 each. Builders blatantly didn't think they'd be up to much but ended up being rather impressed and were buying them up for other projects!
