We are buying a Victorian detached house that is on a large plot of land. Developer has renovated the house and has planning permission to build two new townhouses on the rest of the land leaving us a big enough garden. He is including 3 off road car parking spaces on the site for the two new houses.
We have asked him to sell us one of the spaces instead and put it next to our house. House is £300k, in a busy residential area, mostly terraced houses. We have two cars. The space will also mean the gap between our house and the new house is much bigger - otherwise there would only be an alleyway gap and all 3 spaces would be at the end of the two new houses
