Shabby Chic Chair Project

Hi all,

Not sure if I'm in the right place but after (semi) successfully painting one of our bookcase to match our current furniture I've really got a taste for some projects of painting furniture.

I've purchased 2 shabby chic/farmyard style wooden chairs and hoping to paint them using Annie Sloan paint as I've heard good things about it. The previous paint I used was rust-oleum.

I was thinking of painting 1 in a light soft pink and one in a soft blue but not distressing them as I like the bold pastel colours. I will look into hopefully selling them one (providing the quality is right) after completing. Do these colours sound right for people to want to buy? Or am I best sticking to a cream or white? The previous lady had already started them and has undercoated them both white. So it really is a blank canvas.

Just after any thoughts people have on projects of this sort and colours etc

If you are going to do one and keep it ( assuming you do not already have both colours of paint) why not photograph the one you are going to keep to show the quality and say you can do the other in a colour of someone's choice.

Thank you @BasiliskStare that's such a good idea, I had never thought of that!
