Buyers mortgage??

So our buyer had their valuation done at our house 3 weeks ago. Update yesterday was that they are still waiting for the written offer.

Does that sound unusual and should I be worrying? I was there for the valuation and it was a three minute in and out job. No reason to think anything wrong with valuation....

They are taking forever at the moment. Some banks are better than others so can be about 4 weeks.

Oh okay that's a bit reassuring. I'd have thought if there was a problem with it we would have heard by now!
