Are these legitimate concerns to raise with my bathroom guy?

Hi all,

Had my bathroom refurbed a few weeks ago and while I'm delighted with how it looks, the guy is coming back in to do some snagging this week. Are these legitimate things to raise with him or are some of them to be expected i.e. not problematic?

It's last two in particular I'm not sure if that's just normal?

  • Leaking basin
  • No trim around basin splash back
  • Removal of leftover materials from house
  • Step into bathroom was adjusted but has a bare strip now which needs to be covered
  • shower rail isn’t sealed where it comes in through the tile, so water is getting into wall
  • Set of lights by washer/dryer aren’t properly fixed to the ceiling but are hanging off at one end
  • Shower tray is moving under pressure and I can hear air being forced out
  • Toilet is moving and rocking - doesn’t appear secured to floor

None of these sound acceptable to me at all. I also think one or two issues might be the norm (I've only had one bathroom redone and no issues, so don't really know ) but not this many.

My new bathroom starts next week so am watching with interest.

Oh gosh, ok thank you!

It's my first big piece of work that I'm supervising someone else do so it's hard to know where you're being fobbed of with 'that's just how they are' or 'toilet's don't need securing' etc!

TBF he's always known about the first few and was always coming back to fix them, it's more that as I've used and lived with it I've noticed the others.
