Water repellent on glass shower screens?

Is it safe to use rain repellent like 'RainX' on shower screens to stop them getting all limescaled-up. I've used Mr Muscle shower spray but I live in a very hard water area & it doesn't make any difference.

We used to do ours with Pledge. That was what the glass screen installer recommended. Once the glass is nice and clean and dry, spray it on and wipe all over, it made a huge difference.

I use Method shower spray - we’re in a very hard water area - and it’s brilliant. No need to wipe off and it stops limescale building up.

I've always squeegied mine and used a chammy (how the f do you spell that word????) leather to dry the edges. Yes it's a bit time consuming but my chrome always sparkles. And the glass comes up super once a month with old fashioned jif.

There's a car product called bobby dazzler. You could try that too.
