Is that a dead elephant they have in their dining room??

I thought it looked like a horses snout?

EdHelpPls · 04/05/2018 21:57

If you zoom in on the pic it looks like it was photoshopped in?! Edges are wobbly.
Which makes it even weirder!

ScreamingValenta · 04/05/2018 21:58

... oooer. I have learnt something today. They have their own society!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 04/05/2018 22:03

Serious business this cow malarkey. Had my arm up many a cow bum in my time...

ScreamingValenta · 04/05/2018 22:06

So it might even be a cow you know well. If you close your eyes and wave your arm about, does the bum in the picture ring any bells, @AnotherOriginalUsername?

AnotherOriginalUsername · 04/05/2018 22:07

It's not ringing any bells, cow bell or otherwise

ScreamingValenta · 04/05/2018 22:12

Shame - I was hoping for some biographical information to add 'context' to the piece Sad.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 04/05/2018 22:14

Maybe I could book a viewing and ask directly? I could even dig out some tweed or a Barbour jacket to look authentic

ScreamingValenta · 04/05/2018 22:17

Yes - if you wore a pair of wellies covered in cow dung, I reckon you'd be OK. You could walk up to the picture with an outstretched arm, pulling on a rubber glove, and then pull back at the last minute, apologising that you did it automatically at the sight of a life-sized pregnant cow's bum.

AgnesSkinner · 05/05/2018 09:25

It’s a cow - you can see a bit more of the photo on the agent’s website:

Somebody needs to go and view this house and report back.

I can't go because when they see me pull up in my 10 year old focus they'll know I don't have such money.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 05/05/2018 13:55

@Easilyflattered I have a 7 year old focus reckon that would work?

I'm surprised the current owner allowed it to be listed as being in Yeovil. Everyone here refers to it as either Yo-vile or Yob-ville!

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 05/05/2018 14:11

It's near me and I do have a 4x4...

AnotherOriginalUsername · 05/05/2018 16:06

@Lowdoorinthewal1 and a tweed jacket?

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 05/05/2018 16:18

Nope Grin

Maybe I could just go round and try to look in the window??

FlaviaAlbia · 05/05/2018 16:24

Haven't you seen any horror movies lowfoor? Shock That will not end well for you!

FlaviaAlbia · 05/05/2018 16:25

I know art is subjective ect ect, but I think I'd rather have the unmade bed in my dining
room than that. At least then you could have a lie down if you've eaten too much.

Lowdoorinthewal1 · 05/05/2018 21:47

Haven't you seen any horror movies lowfoor? shock That will not end well for you!

You are totally right, I will NOT do that! Grin

I'll just wait until they give it up to NT and go round when there is facepainting on.
