Wooden floor dilemma! We fancy the herringbone design wooden floor for the hallway and living room. But bit worried it will be too busy looking. Anyone got it? Love it? Hate it? Tips welcome please.

I’m interested too. Having similar dilemmas. We got a quote and it was £££ too!

We have it in our hall and I love it. Don't find it "busy" at all. Look up parquet floor on Pinterest - lots of beautiful pictures for inspiration.

We are moving soon, delighted to find parquet flooring all through the down stairs

We have got a great quote for a fantastic laminate, the guy in shop was adamant for wear and tear you are better off with it. I didn't realise it was laminate at all.

Can you share the info on the laminate please? It's something we are considering too.

This is what we were looking at. We live in Ireland so don't know about uk. the guy said the 'C' rating on them is how easy they scratch and wear down, 5 being best. This is a C4.
