We bought a little 2 up 2 down with inheritance money with the intention of renting it out.
We renovated it and my nephew came home from travelling so we said he could live there until he found somewhere else.
Unfortunately we have now found out the area is full of rats.
The council has been out and put poison down and there have been a few dead ones in the bin alley.
They have also sent letters out advising people on how to dispose of their rubbish.
We don't want any rats in the house but he said he can sometimes hear scratching.
Could they be in the cavities.
Due to there being a problem in the whole area do you think they will ever go?
Has anyone used electric plug in rat repellants that have worked?
