Is the copper bath trend over?

Copper baths.... do you think it is trend that is over? Or would you put one in? I can't decide and would have to nab an absolute bargain but I really like the copper or nickel (or both!) baths and was considering on to put in my dressing room in front of a lovely sash window.... ensuite is the size of a postage stamp so no chance of a bath in there. But don't want to splash out of it is going to be like travertine tiles or glass vessel basins in five minutes. Are could they be timeless?

I had your exact dilemma OP. FTB, bought a doer upper so get to choose everything fresh. In the end decided it would look too dated too soon. Might just be over exposure in London but chickend out and went with bold tiles instead. I would say though, it's your house, if you love them who cares what anyone else thinks! I didn't love it enough :-)

I love copper baths they just scream luxury to me and if i had the chance would snap one up sharpish .

As it will be a bath on a bedroom there wont be any tiles.... just a wood floor and small table to put my wine on! And because it is a bedroom a white bath seems a little too much vinyl.... looked at getting a painted bath but the costs come out pretty close! Not sure I have the nerve to paint a cheap acrylic bath myself....

I think as a stand alone feature in the environment you've described I'd go for it! Agree white might look odd.

I think they are classic rather than trendy, go for it!
