Gloomy day - help!

So we have block viewings this afternoon, and typically after last weeks lovely weather, it’s a drizzly gloomy day. There is actually normally quite a lot of light in the front and back of the house, but the weather is making it look really dark.

Would you leave lights on (I’m thinking low level, cosy mood lighting) before the viewings? I don’t want people to worry it’s always dark, but there is no getting away from the gloom today!

Absolutely leave lights on. I put my own table lamps on when it's like this even when it's just me in the house, to cheer it up a bit.

Be prepared for them to ask you to turn them off though so they can see how it looks on a dark day.

Well we won’t be there (agent is doing viewings) so I suppose they can turn them off themselves if they want to!

Just think it feels more welcoming to enter a well lit house. Maybe they can come back next weekend for a second when it’s sunny...

Show homes always have lights on, regardless.
