Poor TV Reception in flat

I was hoping someone may be able to give me some advice.

I rent out a flat, it is in a block of 12 built around 12 years ago. My tenant is having trouble with the TV reception, he says he has tried all new leads etc. but still no improvement. The letting agent has contacted the management company who say that they have had no other complaints and if they are called out for no reason obviously there will be a charge. I don’t mind this of course! I try to be a good landlord! I have asked my tenant to ask his neighbours if they have had any issues in case they haven’t been reported although I think many have Sky/Virgin.

I am worried that if I phone and TV man he won’t be able to do anything as it comes under the building but if the management company come out and find no problem with their infrastructure I’m not sure how I will be able to proceed and improve this for the tenant.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If the Internet connection is fine I'd recommend them just getting a firestick or similar to watch TV online instead.

Ask tenant these questions 1) Do they have poor reception on live channels BBC 1, 2, 3,4, ITV1, channel 4, channel 5. What does the picture look like and are there any issues with the sound. What sort of TV do they have an old fat one or a newer flat screen or a TV with smart applications. 2) Are there issues on other channels, all of them or some of them. 3) Do you have another TV that you can plug in to see if it has the same issues 4) Is the customer using a Free view box 5) Is the customer trying to view online channels via Netflix, Amazon ...I hope this helps, you need to ask more questions

Do they have issues with catch up TV eg BBC I player, ITV player, Channel 4, 5 player or other catch up channels. How do they access these channels ?
