Help!!
Our boiler finally gave up in the cold weather last month so we had a new Worcester Bosch greenstar classic fitted last week with a tado smart thermostat. All set up and worked initially (although admittedly haven't had the heating on since so don't know how long it hasn't been working), but now although the hot water is working (it's very hot) the heating doesn't come on. The app. says that the heat request is high and that the heating should be on but the boiler does nothing. The flame light is not on.
I have reset the pressure to 1.5 as this was low, and I've reset the boiler. Also tried turning it on and off. I've reset the tado thermostat and slightly tweaked the settings as it not sure they were right. The thermostat 'clicks' when I set the heating to come on but the boiler doesn't seem to recognise it.
The only thing I can think of is replacing the tado batteries, although I'm pretty sure it's not the thermostat.
Can anyone help? I'm waiting to hear back from the fitters but it always takes soooo long with these type of things. I'm also due to have a baby at the weekend so I'm very hormonal and unnecessarily stressed about this
