Painting a roller blind

There is nothing wrong with the blind apart from the colour. It is currently cream and I want to paint it white. I do not want to buy a new one if I can help it.

Surely paint would crack every time you raise/lower the blind? Unless it was very thinly applied, which won't necessarily cover the cream.

Roller blinds aren't expensive. You'll spend as much on paint/sponges/brushes. Just buy a new one.
