Not sure I feel I’ve picked the correct topic thread to post on but would really appreciate any advice from anyone who knows, or has been through this.
I have been “nominated” for a property by my housing officer, for a property with my local HA. But before I’m actually offered it, I have to present all my finances and have an interview tomorrow.
I need to present 3 months of wage slips and bank accounts, both of myself and my adult daughters and all benefit letters, recent council tax etc etc. I think they are looking to check I can afford the rent moving forward on a long term basis, but I feel so nervous because I’m not really sure what they will ask or expect.
Will I have enough money?
Too much?
Have I filled the expense sheet in correctly?
It’s hard to exactly guesstimate how much we spend PCM on toiletries, clothes, trips out, cleaning products etc. I’m really worried about this interview, incase they say no, sorry you can’t have the house then what do I do.
We’re currently in temporary accommodation, been here 3 months after losing our rented home over Christmas. If for some reason we don’t qualify tomorrow, I’d have to move out of the temp accommodation I assume. To where!?
I’ve got myself in a tizzy really, incase that wasn’t obvious. Thank you for reading, any thoughts or advice gratefully received
