I'm looking to buy a house with my DH and 2 year old in either Windsor or old Windsor. Apart from the obvious proximity to stations. Are there any stand out differences. The Windsor house needs a lot of work doing to it but had parking (Springfield road area) whereas the Old Windsor house is ready to go ( 20 yr old new build In Newton court). Old Windsor didn't seem as nice as Windsor with many 1960s houses, more run down shops and more plane noise. Is this a fair observation. I've been told englefiejd green is nice with similar proximity to Egham station that OW has to Windsor? Would someone from the area be able to point out the pros and cons of either? Many thanks!!
