Adding a porch

Anyone had a porch added to the front or rear of home? We live in a Victorian terrace where you enter directly into the lounge at the front and directly into the kitchen at the back Id love to put one in... Just wondering if you've had I done how much it cost? I know there will be a variety of factors but just curious for a ballpark. I've attached a pic of what I mean but in reality I'm even thinking more basic than this!

We are probably in a different position from you, but have just got planning permission for a brick built porch.
As far as I understand it, there are rules about extending the front of your property depending on where the building line is and if you’re in a Conservation area.
The porch you are considering looks like the type a window company could build. I’d ask for a quote from a local company, they will also know about the building regulations.

Look on the planning portal for advice about whether you will need building regs or planning permission. We are getting our builder to build ours as part of a bigger job replacing a glass one with part brick part glass . No planning or building regs needed ( as we aren't moving the front door and it's no bigger than what's there currently). About 5k I'm hoping will do the porch and the external front door
