Need new floor for our kitchen and are thinking about laminate as opposed to our initial preference of solid or engineered wood. I think it better suits our needs at present and like how the better quality laminates look - we've recently laid the Impressive from Quickstep in another project and have been really impressed, however we've found a shade in the Quickstep majestic range which is the perfect shade but has some strange markings in the wood which I thought looked a bit like scratches in certain light. Wondered if anyone has laid this laminate and how it looks large scale, or if anyone has any experience of other quality laminates they'd recommend?
