Contour blinds? Has anyone used them?

I am after some wood Venetian blinds.

I was going to do John Lewis, but Contour blinds are a third of the price! For what appears to be the same thing. They are made to measure.

Any experience please?

JL will be very good quality, but expensive (I have a connection with their manufacturing company!)

Try your local independent shop. They'll have access to more styles and materials. We couldn't afford to have ours made by the JL factory even at cost but got lovely ones and more choice with our local guy at a third of the price. They will also measure for you which means no risk of getting it wrong and being responsible for it. Try and get them small enough that you can take them down yourself to wash and dry them in the shower, or get dusting gloves. Personally, I'll not have them again. Too much work!
