Hi, We are bamboozled by different sliding door options. We want good quality - low hassle/maintenance sliding doors for a dining room. We have looked at Express, Schuco, and Smart doors. Size of doors are 3.6 x 2.1high. We live in Newcastle upon Tyne.
If anyone has advice on this that would be great - cost - reliability -. Especially from people who have the doors fitted. Also we are wondering whether to get the builder to fit them or the sliding door company ? Thanks for your help.

Were waiting for ours to be fitted soon, Dutemann Glide-S, so I can't comment yet on quality etc however the window company we brought through basically said we would lose the warranties if the builder fitted them so the window company are doing it.

Definitely sliding door company so you get the guarantee but... 2.1m is a pretty standard height so you could probably get much cheaper less bespoke builder options. We are nearly 3m high so had to go for specialists and got custom ones from Express. The brands that do goid windows - like Rationel will do doors too.
