We own a freehold house with a separate leasehold garage which is part of a block. We are selling the house and garage but find that the garage is not insured by the management company. The buyer's solicitor is asking for confirmation that the garage is insured. The management company are adamant it is not their responsibility. We would be happy to insure it and understand there are companies that will cover garages that are in a block on the main house policy. In the meantime we are in limbo
