Question about underfloor heating

Hi all, have a quick question regarding laying new UFH for kitchen and utility room, do you lay the UFH throughout the entire room or do you not lay the UFH where cupboards and island and/or white goods will be, so lay it around those areas?

We just did it and the builder did not put it under units or appliances.

Yup, you miss out any areas that will have cupboards or islands on top. And especially miss out wherever the fridge and freezer will stand!
I left another two bits: under the wine racks, and under the cat’s feeding dishes. Hot cat food is not a great smell...!
Must say, underfloor heating has transformed my kitchen - I can now go into it in a Scottish winter without shivering. The old radiator just didn’t cut it. Even the insulation layer that goes under the wiring made a huge difference to the cold concrete floor.

Great thanks both!

Under floor heating is fab, wish we'd put down more of it when we renovated
