I changed my solicitor in between conveyancing process because they took four weeks for drafting contract. Now my new solicitor drafted contract in one day and its been to buyer's solicitors.

My question is will buyer's solicitors do local searches again. Normally how long do we have wait for local searches. They told me that they given for local searches without drafted contract.

How long do we have to wait for raising enquiries. Its one week?

They may have paid the money for searches to their solicitor but it would be highly unusual for the solicitor to order the searches without having had the contract and the property forms you've filled in first.

You should speak to your solicitor to get an idea of timescales.

Searches on my recent move back in less than a week. You don't have to wait before raising enquiries.

Depends on the council, ring them and ask.
