Just looking for some advice please. We are just having our kitchen done and I was thinking about getting a Rangemaster either the Nexus SE or the Excel. I am now dithering because I have seen a few bad reviews.

Does anyone have experience of either of these models or Rangemaster in general? thank you

Ive got a Rangemaster Professional 100. Its duel fuel and about three years old. I'm thrilled with it, the temperatures are excellent and the two oven really handy. Also only around £1800 I think

Thank you, that is very reassuring. I have seen some bad reviews and was beginning to get worried.

Can I ask, do you find cleaning the hob okay? I had seen some comments that people had found them difficult to keep clean.

I’ve got a different range - the professional fxp and I love it. When there was a problem they were quick to send an engineer and rectify the problem. Would buy a rangemaster again based on my experience with them

My mum has a rangemaster and has no end of trouble with it. Good customer service but it doesn’t work more often than not.

TheBiscuitStrikesBack - thank you for your reply. Can I ask what model your mum has and how long has she had it?

I haven’t got one complaint. As for cleaning it’s fine. I occasionally throw everything in the dishwasher though probably not meant to!
For me apart from the looks it’s most important feature was keeping at correct temperature which it does really well. I think the reviews confirmed this on the professional plus

namechange2222 - thank you so much, that is really good to know.

I have dreamt of a new kitchen for years and I thought I would love designing it and choosing appliances but I'm finding it all a bit stressful and overwhelming.
