elmet curtains

the prices are fair and the quality reasonable but the customer service is appalling. the attitude on the phone is very bad. the firm sent the wrong order but would not send out the correct curtains till the old curtains had been collected. The person on the phone was rude and the firm took some time to send out the correct order. No offer of a discount. I would suggest buying from elsewhere even if you have to pay more.

Does anyone have a telephone number for Elmet Curtains in Bolton please?
I bought and subsequently returned some curtains and not only have they not refunded my money - they are ignoring all of my emails and even a letter sent by recorded delivery. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you xx

sorry i no longer have the telephone number as not an easy firm to deal with.

i don't have a number but if you go to Yell.com and put in elmet /bolton there are 3 firms of a different name at the same address. those do have tel numbers. it is strange that 3 curtain firms (trend etc), based at the same address would not be related to elmet (also known as emtex furnishings) but I can't be 100% sure.

I felt it necessary to clear any potential confusion regarding the 3 separate entities that manufacture curtains from the same mill.

Please note although we are based a few units away from Elmet and are also manufacturers of made to measure curtains and cushion covers, we have no affiliation to Elmet Curtains or Emtex.

We are a completely different company run by different owners and have no dealings with Elmet or Emtex.

We have 1 trading name and that is Trend Soft Furnishings UK Ltd.

We have our own team of Customer Services Representatives who answer the phone for us and deal with all our customer questions etc. Please take a look at our Trust Pilot reviews if you're in any doubt.

Sorry to resurrect what's a very old thread but has anyone used this company recently? Am having communication problems with them!

Hi there, I bought curtains in June 22, and it was a struggle to get them. This email ‘[email protected]’ was the only way they answered me, but I bombarded them with emails daily! It took around 3 weeks after payment was received before they actually sent my order! I found a telephone number online for them but the woman that answered told me she had nothing to do with Elmet🤷🏻‍♀️. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. Aarrgghh very frustrating, their communication is non-existent and all I want to know is when they're likely to be ready! Regretting placing my order now.
