Velux blinds and good place for 'normal' blinds.

Hi

I'm just at the finishing stages of getting my loft converted and it has been an expensive job! In the interests of saving some money, has anyone got any experience of the generic blinds that are made to fit velux windows please (rather than the velux blinds) ?

I also have a big floor to ceiling window that I need to get a roller blind for (hoping not to have to get made to measure) and just wondered where is best to get them from.

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks!

Made to measure from blinds2go, cost about £40 for a 100cm window, the same size from ikea was £20 for significantly poorer quality and had to cut to fit myself.

We got genuine Velux from Vale Blinds valeblinds.com/velux-reg-blackout-duo-dfd-blind at a much better price than the Velux website. We went for the duo blinds, and are very happy with them. I had previously been looking at Blinds2Go, but the genuine Velux on Vale Blinds were a comparable price.

I found Keylite blinds perfectly good, and much cheaper than velux.
