Are you doing it yourself?

Ours is 2.4mx5m and cost us about £300 but we did it all ourselves. Including an inspection hatch.

oh bubbles - I wish - dh is not a keen DIYer and carpentry is not my strong point.! We have a handyman lined up and he costs £10 per hour however I have no idea how to account for the materials or how long the labour would be.

Ah I see, me and dh will have a bash at anything. That and I refused to pay the £900 we were quoted! Ours is reinforced as well to take the weight of the hot tub!

Took us 2 full weekends to finish it, but that was with 2 small children running around. So a handyman might get it done a lot quicker.

We got all our wood from wickes (they had 3 for 2 and I have a discount card which got me another 10% off) and they deliver we used a trailer to pick it all up, the hardest and most expensive part for us was the frame! As we needed to add extra support to it, and effectively give it a ‘pile’ foundation. Which then needed to set.

Don't forget to budget for regular anti slip treatments, rat control and trips to a and e when you do slip....
