Am having issues connecting the flexible waste pipe to the under sink pipes. The end of the hose is wider than the pipe and doesn't feel at all secure. I think it would fall off once water is being pumped through. Do i need a wider sink adaptor thing or should I get some hose clips? Anyone any ideas. To make matters more difficult pipes round there are very tight and I was wondering whether I should get one of these flexi waste connectors?? Am hopelessly out of my depth please help

Can you show a picture of the pipes/the waste hose?

Yes, pictures of all piping available would help. So there's no existing waste pipe for the washing machine? It's usually a case of shoving it down into it as the pipe is wider than the washing machine outlet and it's vertical which means gravity does the job

It's a dishwasher not a washing machine

Thanks. Have sorted it. Got a hose clip to make waste pipe sit more securely. Have done a test run and all seems to be working well! Have been dishwasherless for three months due to finances so am v happy to put washing up liquid away for a bit!
