Best bathroom paint?

Our en suite was painted about 6 weeks ago with Johnstones Covaplus Vinyl Matt but it shows every drip mark (from minor splashes, there isn’t lots of water dripping!) the filler underneath is showing through the colour, plus it is starting to flake. We didn’t have this with the previous paint, so we’re now looking to repaint it, so please can anyone advise what’s the best paint to use?

I read somewhere that there is special bathroom paint you can get which allows you just to wipe off any marks/splashes. I am sure someone else will come along with more precise advice.

Wilko bathroom paint.
I didn't believe it either. We used valspar bathroom paint at £29 a tin and if flaked at the first sign of dampness. We generally have quite a bit of condensation first thing because we leave the heating off overnight and run the shower first thing. There is no signs at all of damp since using the cheaper paint..its wipe clean (handy when my DP splatters bloody toothpaste up the wall) etc. Really good coverage too. I read about wilko paint on here and at £12 a tin I wasnt quite sure... definitely super impressed.

I think Matt paint is fundamentally difficult to keep clean. Even vinyl silk can be sponged down with warm water and detergent, but the K&B paints are considerably more durable.

btw, an effective extractor fan, with a run-on timer, will make a big difference in preventing condensation and damp, and the dirt that sticks to it.

Laura Ashley - does not crack or flake and can be cleaned /rubbed. It is by far the best we have found.
