Like to relocate Between Manchester and Liverpool-Current job (Chef) at Preston,

Good evening ,

At the moment working as a Chef in Preston, considering my career would like to move between or nearer to Manchester and Liverpool so that in future i can find a job any of the above place.

Reason for looking a place before finding a job in the above cities,
1)Wife really don't like current place.
2)Current Job is ok at the moment, but no growth further!
3)Like to use the current salary as a Mortgage ,not sure if i get the same salary in future Job!

*House price budget Max-150K .Wife really want Garden!
*Wife not working, no kids yet,but we want to have soon.

I would look at astley, leigh, tyldesley....just off east lancs....not sure about getting 3 beds for that budget though. they have that guided busway into manchester too and the east lancs is good for driving between the two cities.

i would avoid higher folds

this article was a couple if years ago but it highlighted some good family areas that were not the usual expensive south manchester suburbs and some of them are out west near Leigh and Atherton etc. not that familiar with the area though but worth a look and I am a bit doubtful if they are really that great but may be in budget...

Take a look at Newton-le-Willows. Bang in the middle of Liverpool and Manchester, also right next to the M62, M6 and East Lancs
