Replacement doors for ikea Pax?

Has anyone ordered a pax wardrobe then bought the doors separately to make it look more bespoke? Does it work out significantly cheaper than fitted? Are you happy with the result? Any companies you recommend?

I'm using Shaker Doors for my kitchen but they won't be delivered until late April - sorry! Can report back then but it might be too late?

I just used bespoke door knobs but that website looks good so I'm following with interest.

Just replacing the doors doesn't really make them look like anything other than Ikea wardrobes with different doors on them (although that may be nice if none of the official Ikea options appeal to you). However it isn't comparable to fitted wardrobes. If you want a "built in" look, then it is all the extra surrounds, plinths etc that you need to hide the gaps between the wardrobe shell and the walls around it that make the difference.

You’re right caroian:(. The price difference is just so huge, thAt it’s an option I’m consider.

Lots of advice and examples online for hacking IKEA Pax to look more high end. One great one here:
