Just wondered if anyone had opinions on how much a bespoke internal door should cost.
We've just had a quote from Greenwich Joinery for £980 for an internal four-panel door, and £2,880 for large double doors - supply only for a Victorian restoration project. This seems very high, but unsure whether this is the case?
The doors are solid wood, we want them quite thick (i.e. 4.7cm+), and they have to fit into non-standard doorframes. They're a pretty standard design with no glass, carving or decorations. Non-custom doors are obviously £350 or less.
