I work in central Manchester, commute by train. We currently live north of Manchester. DH is considering a job in Burton on Trent. He could drive or take the train, driving preferable for him as not always office based. Trying to work out a good place to live. Good train line in to Manchester is important, DH happy to drive. We have primary aged DC, 4/5 years off secondary. Ideally a decent sized house in a small town, good garden. Places which look possible so far are Macclesfield, Buxton. Any other ideas much appreciated!
