Colour for the living room

Can anyone recommend a colour for my new living room ?
We're wanting something colourful in a pastel tone but the furniture is Grey and the drapes are a natural colour that goes well with anything.
Don't really want to spend more than £50 per tin if we can

Sage is a nice neutral colour that will work well with grey

Colourful and pastel are opposites! Mid blues are very fashionable now. You can jazz it up with pops of yellow. Or try a pink and aubergine scheme.

Pink quartz - very chalky, neutral pink. Or sage is a good suggestion - - F&B cooking apple green is good . U can get both colours colour matched in B&Q's Valspar paint: The scrubbable version is super.

I have dulux dusted fondant which I like with grey.

Sorry should have said it's a purply colour.

What about F&B Oval Room Blue? (Colour matched at Johnstones to keep costs down)
