Do builders who fit bathrooms and kitchen do decor stuff too?

I messaged the builder we used for the kitchen as I want a quote for the bathroom. I asked what else he does as we want a few things doing and he said the only thing he doesn't do is roofs as that takes a team and is a big job.

Basically I want:
Wall moving half a meter between shower room and study
New shower room with new layout (I know he can do this)
Built in cupboard in study to house boiler and create storage
Radiator in study (I know he can do this)
Build/put doors on odd shaped doorways, normals new doors to rooms upstairs
Sand and paint bannisters, possible new bannister
Plaster where it has come away on landing (I know he can do this)
Tongue and groove in hallway and possibly paint (DH could paint it but not do the tongue and groove)

I know he does electrics, pipes, radiators etc. It's more the decorative side I'm not so sure about. Do they usually do this or would this be down to us?

You can only ask. Every 'builder' is different. Some are more like 'fixers' or project managers, and use a team of self employed 'trades' to do each part of the job. Some are highly skilled in several trades and prefer to do all, or most of it themselves. Others will fall somewhere inbetween. What you are likely to find though, is that someone who only does some specific jobs, will recommend someone to give you a quote to do the bit that he doesn't do.

Thanks. There were 3 who did the kitchen together. Between them they could do everything, plastering, gas, electrics, plumbing, new skirtings etc. Hopefully they can do all that we need.
