Wide Worktops

Hello, new to this site, dont do much online so bear with me. Weve just re-fitted the kitchen with Ikea units, looking good so far. Was going for wood worktops but changed mind and want to stay with laminate but having a problem in getting the size. We need 2 at 3000+ mm by 635mm, not having any luck in finding them. Plenty of wood tops. Bespoke would also be good, save the hassle of hob and sink cutouts.
Any leads appreciated.

Have you tried looking for breakfast bar sized laminate? That's what ours is as our washing machine was too wide for the usual 600mm. You can then just trim it to the right size.

I havn`t looked at breakfast bar tops, really wanted to get tops already cut to fit, looked at Worktop Express but they only have wood tops long enough.

Why don't you just get an Ikea worktop? They have a wide selection in the right size.

I think the place that sells the laminate would also cut it for you. So but breakfast bar width and get all the trimming and cut outs done by them?

Thanks for the feedback, went to Ikea today and ordered 3 worktops cut to size. Chose laminate, black mineral effect, should go well with the oak fronts on the cabinets, only thing is we have to get the cutouts done for hob and sink and a joint, Masons mitre, he can do it but is not to keen, it must be right.

Cut outs in laminate are a basic skills that any kitchen fitter has. Very random that they wouldn't be keen.
