Hi everyone. I need some help. i have trawled the net googled a million different things just cant find a solution.
I live in a high rise aprtment block and have a toddler. as you can imagine windows and safety are a concern. I havr bi folding windows in my main living area so they open up just like bi folding doors towards me and thwn slide across for a bigger opening. This is all good and well when LO was a baby but now his climbing and im just petrified of him climbing. regular window restrictors wont work for this type of window. Anyone have odea on what i cna do or what safety products would be suitable. TIA

Sorry I'm not a window fitter but.. are you in the uk? It doesn't sound like this would meet building regs. How old is the apartment? Perhaps you have some recourse under NHBC. If not, how about your landlord / freeholder?

yes i am in the UK london actually.

The windows are part of what is called. 'winter garden' which is basically like a indoor balcony but not a balcony. it is seperated by a set of bi folding doors. But the winter garden windows are the only actual window in my open plan kitchen living room. really really modern apartment but i just dont like the setup
