Ok so if any of you have seen previous threads , I am having a huge nightmare with my current rented property. It's in bad shape and a terrible area, we moved here to save for a mortgage but I really can't stay here.

We have seen a beautiful house great location ect but it will not leave us with a lot of money each month, we will have enough to pay all bills and expensive but not to much left for treats and savings!

I can't decide if it's best to be in lovely house and location for my children or have extra money in the bank

What would you do ??

I only have till morning to decide please help

It's your life you are considering. If your current house is making your lives miserable, it might be better to move.

Only you can decide.

I'm just really struggling because all I want is security for my children and I feel like if we get the house we have the security there ie environment safer house but if we stay we will more money security!

Feel damed if we do and if we don't

My heart would say go for it, it’s horrible not enjoying the place where you live. I’ve not seen your previous threads but I’ve been in a situation with nasty neighbours and it’s just not worth the stress. I’d weigh it up as which stress is worse- your current situation or the situation of worrying about money?

Godowneasy · 07/03/2018 23:48

It sounds as though you'd be too financially stretched to take the new place, although you could ask whther they'd take a lower rent.
It does sound as though you need to move from your current place, so have a look at other places that may be better but more within your budget.

Definitely ask for a lower rent, give excellent references, say your long term. But I wouldnt replace your current stresses with financial stress.

QuiteLikely5 · 08/03/2018 10:21

How much will the mortgage be and what are your incomes?

QuiteLikely5 · 08/03/2018 10:22

Do you have the chance of promotions?

I have got experience of taking this leap

Update,

We spent a lot more time going through our finances and it's not actually to bad I think because I'm a strong saver I was worried about that, my husband gets a lower wage about 3 times a year and on them months we would not be able to save and would have to tighten our pockets some what but on the other Months we will be fine and have money to save and bills and expensive are always covered it was just "disposable money" that I was worrying over really.

And I can't stress how bad it's been here so to get the children to nicer place is just going to be amazing and worth it on them few tougher months

So we have put in our application so fingers crossed now !

Thank you for all of your help

If you don't earn enough the banks will not lend you for the mortgage or if you are planning to rent again then you wont meet the criteria and your application wont be accepted. Good luck.
