New pine floorboards?

We have original floorboards in the main reception rooms of our Edwardian house, but the floors in the hall and another room have been replaced at some point with chipboard (old, now cured, damp problem).

We want to restore these floors but struggling to find suitable reclaimed boards. Would new pine floorboards be a mistake?

Plan for all the boards is to sand and refinish in a dark oil and mostly cover with antique rugs etc, so only the edges will be visible.

So a small amount of shrinkage etc will be expected with new boards and would look similar to the old ones, but is the quality of the pine too poor for a finished floor these days? Will they just warp?
