Recommendations for internal bifold doors

As the title says really. I'm looking for bifold doors to separate the two parts of the living room. Has anyone had any really good experiences/companies to absolutely avoid? Also did you install them yourself or get someone in? TIA.

I wouldn't have bi-fold doors internally. They take up quite a bit of space (depending on what size each panel is) which isn't usually an issue as that's usually in the garden but would mean you'd lose internal space if you see what I mean. Have you considered pocket doors / doors which can fold back against the wall?

Weve got two sets of wooden folding doors to separate kitchen/sunroom/lounge. They fold back flat against the wall and are from www.vibrantdoors, co.uk who were excellent. They arrive unfinished and with all the fittings (but not door handles). Really helpful advice on the phone too. Our chippies fitted them and the decorator oiled them to match the wooden floors

They look brilliant. I love them. Expensive but worth it I think. I want to get rid of the double doors between my sitting room and dining room end of my kitchen and replace them with bifold doors but I didn't know what they were called so thank you! Brew

Thank you. Vibrant doors was one of the companies I was looking at, so it's good to hear you had a positive experience with them.
