Are they like the tardis in storage terms or difficult for some things great for others?! Any feedback on ideal size and how to make them function really well gratefully received!

Yes, I have the Faktum kitchen and it appears you can still get them for the Metod one.

Hopefully you have Pinterest or you might not be able to see this but this is the Metod larder unit with the interior pull out drawers.

my parents have a pull out one in stainless steel, it is a pita if you get a bag with a hole in it like flour or sugar or cous cous, it goes all over the place.
